Catherine McLoughlin passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 41 years to the late Timothy J. McLoughlin. Cherished mother of James McLoughlin, Eileen Ireland (Matt), Joan Risicato (late Alfred), Ann Tierney, Mary McLoughlin, the late Patricia McLoughlin, Kathleen McLoughlin and Theresa Solomon (Jim). Proud grandmother to Kristin Malone (Joe), Justin McLoughlin (Brooke), Robyn Wallace (Joe), Kimberly Kreuzberger (Bryan), Melissa Kortovich (Jim), Gregory Risicato, Kelly Levitt (Mike), Jacquelyn and Erin Solomon and beloved great grandmother to eighteen loving great grandchildren. Loving sister-in-law to Nancy McLoughlin (late Thomas), loving Aunt to Tom McLoughlin (Cynthia), Maura McLoughlin (Reinaldo Rivera) and Chris McLoughlin (Patricia). Also survived by many countless loving cousins.

A proud and active parishioner of Our Lady of Angels Church for almost 70 years. Treasurer of the Senior Citizen Leisure Club for years which brought her great joy after retiring from Bay Ridge HS as Payroll Secretary after a long career.

Aside from Catherine’s greatest joy of spending time with her family, she loved to travel, attend religious retreats, dance, join the “Red Hats” organization and visit Atlantic City. No one enjoyed life and a good laugh more than Catherine.

All are grateful to have had such an incredible woman in their life who exemplified kindness, strength and faith. Catherine’s smile, laughter and her love for family and friends will be missed by many.
