Tomaszewski, Kathleen (nee Cadden) passed away on April 28, 2020. Kathleen was a lifelong resident of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn residing in the same family home for her entire life. She was born to Michael and Rebecca Cadden. Beloved wife of the late Ted Tomaszewski. Predeceased by her loving brothers and sisters John, Mary, Margaret and William. Kathleen (Kotch) is survived and loved by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. She also took on the role as a second mother to Penny, Jimmy, Donna and Michael Troy. She was a nurse in the maternity ward at Victory Memorial Hospital for 40 years, rising to become head nurse and assisting in the delivery of many neighborhood children as well as many of her own family members. She was devoted in her faith and was a life time member of St. Ephrem’s Catholic Church. Kathleen continued her father’s mission of praying the Rosary at 7:00 PM every evening at St. Ephrem’s for over 50 years. She was the co-director of the Lamb Institute for over 25 years experiencing a deeper enrichment of God’s word. Burial will be private. A memorial Mass for Kathleen will be celebrated at a future date when all of her family can gather and remember the goodness of her life.
