Margaret Ryan passed on May 10, 2020. She was predeceased by our mother Marion Ryan, our niece Michelle Macaluso, and our brother Thomas Ryan Jr. She is survived by her son Alfred and his partner Ann Maggi, her son Joseph, her daughter Amanda, and her beautiful newborn granddaughter Sofia-Quinn. Anyone who knew Margaret knows she has many sisters, brothers, and in-laws. She also has an army of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Too many to list us all! Although this is a devastating time for all of us, I, as well as everyone else, am remembering, retelling, and reliving our stories and the crazy times we shared with her.
Cancer may have stolen her from us, but cancer did not define her. There is comfort knowing that she lives on in our stories, pictures, and videos. She lives on as we remember her laughter, her smile, and especially her dancing! So her life did not end, she continues to live in all of us, bringing new light and laughter to all who love her.
As we try to move forward, remember my sister for her heart of gold and her love for her family (regardless of blood.) Give freely of your love and time to the people around you. The part of Margaret in us all will never die. Please leave your memories and stories of Margaret so we can all rejoice and celebrate her remarkable life.

You'll never be forgotten
That simply cannot be.
As long as I am living,
I'll carry you with me.
Safely tucked within my heart
Your light will always shine;
A glowing ember never stilled,
Throughout the end of time.
No matter what the future brings,
Or what may lie ahead,
I know that you will walk with me
Along the path I tread.
So rest my angel, be at peace
And let your soul fly free.
One day I'll join your glorious flight
For all eternity.
LOVE, your big Sista Susan-Hubbard Mollano

We did not know Ms. Ryan personally, but clearly she was a wonderful person who will be dearly missed. Truly she will be remembered in the memories you hold of her. We long for the time when sickness and death will be removed forever.- Hebrews 6:10, Isaiah 33:24, Revelations 21:3,4

I could say so many thing about Auntie...yes Auntie. In no way were we blood related, but she always made me feel like I was. I have known Auntie for so many years thanks to, Erin.... and what an honor and privilege it was to know her. She could make my horrible day into a great one simply with a joke. I have never seen her without a smile on her face, and that’s how I’ll always remember her. I wish this never would’ve had to happen to her, but I know how full her life was. Truly one of the greatest women I have ever known. I will miss her deeply, but I know her memory will be alive forever, in me and everyone who knew her. Rest In Peace Margaret Mary Ryan. ❤️

Never will forget, you Margaret, or your effervescent smile. You always made people feel comfortable with you. Now we must comfort ourselves with the memories that you made with all of us. So glad that we met again, if only for a short time. Now that you are up in heaven, watching over all of us. Know that you are missed and we will get through this, because we know you will guide us from above with love. Your forever friend, Sharon McNeely Cesario

Margaret your where such an loving caring and down to earth person. I will remember you always you coming into our house (The Weber's) in Brooklyn, always with a joke or a funny story to tell, you brought such joy to us eight sisters, an you would always say your where the 9th sisters which we welcome you with open arms. You always brought such great times to all our family parties or just hangout in my sister Lisa's kitchen.. When we worked together I so enjoyed hearing the stories of your boys and our paid day shopping days on 34th Street. I remember the day three years ago when you came to my house in Goshen, you where so happy that I was giving you my Nanny's dresser and night stands, I know my Nanny was over joyed up there in heaven that it went to you. I was happy to see you got to meet you little Sofia Quinn, you are her guardian angel now .
Watch over your twin Lisa and Helena as the are just devastate over you leaving them. Margaret you fought the fight of your life, you gave it all the fight you had left, rest in peace sweet lady, I will carry in my heart always.

Love You and God Bless
