Margaret Ryan passed on May 10, 2020. She was predeceased by our mother Marion Ryan, our niece Michelle Macaluso, and our brother Thomas Ryan Jr. She is survived by her son Alfred and his partner Ann Maggi, her son Joseph, her daughter Amanda, and her beautiful newborn granddaughter Sofia-Quinn. Anyone who knew Margaret knows she has many sisters, brothers, and in-laws. She also has an army of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Too many to list us all! Although this is a devastating time for all of us, I, as well as everyone else, am remembering, retelling, and reliving our stories and the crazy times we shared with her.
Cancer may have stolen her from us, but cancer did not define her. There is comfort knowing that she lives on in our stories, pictures, and videos. She lives on as we remember her laughter, her smile, and especially her dancing! So her life did not end, she continues to live in all of us, bringing new light and laughter to all who love her.
As we try to move forward, remember my sister for her heart of gold and her love for her family (regardless of blood.) Give freely of your love and time to the people around you. The part of Margaret in us all will never die. Please leave your memories and stories of Margaret so we can all rejoice and celebrate her remarkable life.
